World of eventuality/Мир случайностей

The picture is called "Settlement", though the settlement itself takes
an insignificant part of the canvas. This option of composition was
intentional. It is night, everyone is asleep in the settlement, but
the elements roar and storm around the settlement, things that could
become crucial are happening. Nobody knows what will happen in the
next moment. Will the elements bear down on the settlement; will its
peaceful existence and stability be interrupted by them? Or will the
elements pass by, and the inhabitants when they wake up in the morning
will not know anything about the night's danger, they will have their
breakfast and leave for work? Possibly, the power of these elements
will not be enough to overcome the fortifications of the walls?
Anything is possible in the world of eventuality. And yet for now the
settlement's residents are asleep and do not care about the real
nightmares that threaten them.

Работа названа "Поселок", но поселок занимает незначительное место в
картине. Это композиционное решение не случайно. На картине изображена
ночь, поселок спит, а вокруг бушуют стихии, происходят события,
которые могут стать судьбоносными. Что произойдет в следующий момент
неизвестно. Обрушиться ли стихия на поселок, нарушит его спокойное
существование, устойчивое положение? Или стихия пройдет мимо, а
жители, проснувшись утром, даже не будут знать о ночной опасности,
позавтракают и пойдут на работу? А может быть энергии этой стихии не
хватит, чтобы одолеть крепость стен домов? В мире случайностей
возможно все. А пока жители поселка спят и им нет никакого дела до
реальных ночных кошмаров, которые им угрожают.
